Ascent Developer Solutions Continues Growth Trajectory with Key Executive New Hires

Real Estate Private Lending Platform Scales Following Successful Year, $1B Origination Volume Milestone

Gene Kim joins as an Executive Vice President, CRE Strategies, while the firm welcomes Asher Patak as Senior Vice President, Lending Team Officer. Kim spent the previous two-plus years at Genesis Capital, with earlier stops at Sunwest Bank, YAM Capital and Berkadia. He reports to managing director and head of sales Donna Grissom. Patak leads lending strategy across the firm’s business lines and reports to Ascent founder Robert Wasmund. Patak spent the past 11 years at Genesis Capital.
