David Hada
Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Dave leads the development and implementation of financial strategies to support AscentDS’s growth objectives, ensures strong internal controls, and oversees the development of AscentDS’s technology and data platforms. He brings over 20 years of experience in real estate lending. Most recently, Dave was the CFO at United Dwelling, a venture-backed start-up that pioneered the ADU industry in California. Prior to United Dwelling, he served as the CFO of Genesis Capital, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, where he led integration efforts to align the control and compliance functions, built a cross-functional BI team, and developed a scalable accounting and FP&A platform.
He also spent ten years as the CFO of the financial services division of Shea Homes and served as the CFO of two national independent mortgage banks.
Dave began his career at Ernst & Young and is a CPA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
