Asher Patak
Senior Vice President, Lending Team Officer
As Senior Vice President, Lending Team Officer, Asher leads lending strategy across the Ascent DS global platform. He brings over 15 years of experience in credit and risk management within the real estate lending industry. Most recently, Asher was Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Officer at Genesis Capital. In this role, he chaired and served on multiple credit committees, and partnered with senior leadership to establish credit policy, portfolio monitoring standards, and extension strategies.
His expertise spans bridge, renovation, and construction financing across multiple asset classes including single-family residential, multifamily, mixed-use, homebuilder, build-for-rent, and manufactured housing. Earlier in his career, Asher held a variety of positions in credit and lending, developing deep expertise in structuring and risk management.
Asher earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California State University, Northridge.
